Water Resources Solutions (WRS) is a consulting engineering firm based in Prairie Village, Kansas, focusing on innovative and ecologically friendly water resources engineering for public and private clients.

Our vision is based on the philosophy that man-made environments necessary for our societies to function and thrive can be developed to minimize impact to the equally-important natural environment.  Our goal is to provide innovative, cost-effective and eco-friendly water resources engineering services to realize this vision.

Our services include planning, studies, design, environmental permitting and construction management for our water resources projects.  Based on our philosophy of eco-friendly and sustainable water resources engineering, we specialize in stormwater management, water quality, river and stream engineering, hydraulics structures, and agricultural engineering.

Specialization

WRS specializes in stormwater management, stream and lake restoration, river engineering, hydraulic structures, agricultural engineering, stormwater BMPs, and water quality.  We provide planning, study, design, environmental permitting,  and construction phase services as part of our engineering, restoration, and stormwater BMP services.  In addition to design, our hydraulic structures services include dam breach modeling and the production of emergency action plans.  Our water quality services include water quality sampling and modeling.
